It’s been an exciting few weeks for 247 Professional Health, with our franchises up and down the UK being very busy! We stopped by a few of our offices for a catch up…

We headed down south first to our new Ipswich franchise, which has only been up and running for just over a month. Co-directors and old friends (and bandmates!) Haydn and Phil filled us in on everything 247 Professional Health down in Suffolk. Despite operating for such a short amount of time, the franchise has already recruited some great staff members who really believe in the business model – a great start to building up a strong team! They are continuing with their massive recruitment drive in the East Anglia area as they will begin to start suppling staff to local provisions soon. In addition to this, the Ipswich franchise has been liaising with the local university and from next term they will be exclusively working with their health and social care and nursing students. Great job guys!

Travelling slightly west across the country now, we stopped in to say hello to the team at the Hitchin franchise. It’s been a great month for charity over at the Hertfordshire-based office as their Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday, July 11 was a great success! Their Admin Officer Laura Larman won the title of best cake maker of the day and they managed to raise £42 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Unfortunately, Laura’s cake was all gone when we arrived, so I suppose we will never know just how tasty it was…

Up to Scotland now to visit our team in Airdrie. They are now on the Care Inspectorate so can officially supply nurses which naturally means that they are very keen to recruit them. There are lots of shifts available for nurses at the nursing and care homes that they currently supply. Throughout the summer they are conducting interviews at their office in the Airdrie Business Centre on most Thursdays and Fridays and are always on the look out for Care Assistants, Support Workers and Nurses.

A slight journey further north to our last stop – our Stirling franchise. They have been very busy recruiting nurses and have signed up a number of new staff from recent job fairs they have attended. They are also starting new courses soon which will offer training on the likes of dementia, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock and medication. Another huge piece of news is that they are welcoming a new salesman onto their team at the beginning of August full time to help assist with their growth – very exciting!

We can’t wait to see what the next few weeks hold for 247 Professional Health.
