NHS PASA (Purchasing & Supply Agency) transfers some key sourcing activities to Buying Solutions.

Following the transfer, which took place on 1 October, NHS PASA’s professional services, temporary staffing and audit function has been integrated into Buying Solutions’ existing professional services category.
To ensure a smooth transition for existing PASA customers and suppliers, a helpdesk has been set up to deal with any enquiries. The number is (0118) 980 8841, or email pasa@pasa.nhs.uk
In a joint statement, NHS PASA and Buying Solutions, says: “Current NHS PASA framework agreements in the seven categories will remain in place at Buying Solutions ensuring continuity of service and terms and conditions for suppliers will not change for current framework agreements.”
The transfer of PASA functions was first announced in May this year as part of efforts to improve the NHS’s procurement function.
