New Event Fast forward into the future I and II: creating an age friendly society

From the events in March and June where the residents from New Earswick, local community groups (carers’ groups, older people’s forums) and sixth form students from local schools, gathered at the village Folk Hall to discuss how to create a more age-friendly society.

Discussed:

  • What do you want from your ‘old age’?
  • What would help you to enjoy the best possible later life?

Happy DaysThis public consultation exploring what will need to change if we are to meet the needs and aspirations of people as they grow older.
