The Liverpool IDS Disco was set up by Specialist Support Worker Stephen Purcival and service users of the IDS project. The aim of the Disco is to provide paid employment to people with learning difficulties and a chance for them to socialize and have fun.

The Disco started in September 2007 and has gone from strength to strength. The Disco empowers individuals, gives them a sense of self respect, status and a sense of community.

Taking place every Tuesday at The Lime Kiln Lloyds Bar in Concert Square Liverpool, the Disco is open to all people with learning disabilities.

Entry fee is just £2.

For more information please contact Stephen Purcival on 07904 403 338 or email steperci@hotmail.com .
